Passports
Before you
travel overseas (Including journeys through the channel tunnel), check that your
passport is still valid and will be for the duration of your travels (It is wise
to make sure your passport is valid for 12 months beyond your intended stay,
in case your travel plans change).
If you don't already have a passport make sure you apply
leaving plenty of time before you’re
due to travel.
Take
a note of your passport number, date and place it was issued, expiry date and
keep it in a safe place separately to your passport.
Complete
the details in the Next Of Kin section of your passport.
Take
a photocopy of your passport and take another form of identification, preferrably
with a photographen possible keep your passport in a safe
and carry a photocopy around with you
If your passport is
lost or stolen whilst overseas contact your nearest embassy / consulate, for
advice.
