Earn money, improve your skiing and have a fantastic social life in a top ski resort! Oyster have been working in Canada since 2000, and have some fantastic links in a variety of workplaces. You can train up to be a ski instructor and teach children to ski, work in hospitality or get involved in childcare. We’ll arrange it all for you and send you out with a group of others.

The kids love learning from our volunteers, and the volunteers love to share in this enthusiasm.
Work with children who have been dealt a tough hand, helping them with their English, becoming a role model and playing games with them. Many of these children simply crave affection, and volunteers will need to be happy providers of many warm hugs! Childcare volunteers are needed in Romania, South Africa, India and Brazil.
Internships and training courses
If you are keen to become a medic then getting some work experience abroad is a great way to contribute to your skills and get a different view of the medical systems around the world. Join a mobile medical internship and a children’s hospital team in Romania, or get involved in hospitals in India, to gain an experience anything like you could at home.
Gain experience working with animals, either at sanctuaries, rescue centres, game reserves or a clinisc. Some projects involve working in various locations with a variety of animals, whereas others focus particularly on one area of veterinary.

Many of our volunteer projects, courses, treks and internships are accredited to the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, and can be completed for the residential part of the Duke of Edinburgh award.
