For individuals from foreign countries who are interested in coming to the U.S. on a work visa, there has never been a clearer choice. Life Adventures offers a wide array of work opportunities and visa options.

Whether you are a college student interested in a 3-4 month J-1 Work/Travel during you summer break, a college student or recent graduate from Australian or New Zealand looking to participate in the NEW 12-month work/travel visa, or a coach or teacher looking to work at a US summer camp, Life Adventures has the right options for you.

• J-1 Work/Travel Candidates: Participants MUST be post-secondary students, at least 18 years of age, on THEIR summer break. J-1 Visas are a maximum of 4-months. All participants must also possess sufficient proficiency in the English language to participate in the program. Participants are permitted to travel for up to 30 days after the visa end date throughout the US as long as the travel time does not interfere with their school dates. Job locations: Top tier hotels, resorts and beach shops in sunny beach locations. Locations lend themselves to great work, fun social life and an amazing US experience. o Positions: Our hotels and resorts look for a number of positions including housekeeping, kitchen preparation, hostess, wait staff, front desk and more. Beach shops are looking for students to work as store clerks. o Number of Positions Available: 100-200 per season. (Seasons are defined by a country’s official summer break. Typically countries north of the equator are eligible between May and October and countries south of the equator are eligible between November and February.) Click here to apply.

• J-1 Work/Travel 12-Month Program for Australia/New Zealand Candidates: Participants must be post-secondary students, or recent graduates within 12 months. Maximum duration of the program is 12 months with no additional time to travel as the 4-month work/travel. Job locations: Top tier hotels, resorts and beach shops in sunny beach locations. Locations lend themselves to great work, fun social life and an amazing US experience. o Positions: Our hotels and resorts look for a number of positions including front desk, front office and food service positions that require training. Some of our partner resorts include the Ritz Carlton, the Westin, the Breakers, the Marriott, etc. o Number of Positions Available: 25 per country. The pilot program is a 2 year trial program. • Camp Counselor Candidates: Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 and must have a bona fide employment offer to work at a US summer camp. Maximum duration of the program is 4 months although most camps offer employment for 2-3 months. Participants are permitted to travel for up to 30 days after the visa end date throughout the US. Job locations: US summer camps throughout the USA. Most camps offer lodging and meal at no cost to the staff. Positions: You must be employed as a camp counselor with primary responsibilities in supervising and directing campers. Participants on this visa cannot be employed in support staff roles in the kitchen, office or maintenance. Number of Positions Available: 100-200 per US summer. Click here to apply. 1. Pre-placement. Participants can make their own connection for employment and housing. Participants then simply submit information regarding employment contact information for confirmation.

2. Placement with no housing. Participants can apply for and accept or deny available positions at our partner resorts. Participants can also choose to find their own affordable housing.

3. Placement and housing. Participants can apply for and accept or deny available positions at our partner resorts. Participants upon acceptance of the employment can choose to accept pre-arranged housing.
