Canvas Holidays & Camping Life Have Exciting Seasonal Vacancies For The 2006 Camping Season. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, independent and hard working people to join our team of seasonal staff at campsites in France, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, Holland, Germany, Austria, Croatia and Switzerland. You will need experience of working in a customer service role, a desire to travel overseas, meet like-minded people and work outdoors. Minimum age is 18 years old (19 for France) Campsite Courier: Your duties will involve preparing customer accommodation for arrival, welcoming them to the campsite and ensuring that the customer needs are attended during to during their stay. As a courier you will also be involved in montage (putting up tents) and demontage (taking down tents) at the beginning and end of the season. Children's Courier: It will be your responsibility to plan and deliver a varied programme of activities and games for our younger guests with the emphasis being on safety and fun. Will also include daily campsite courier duties when required. Some formal experience of working with children is needed. Buzz Courier: It will be your responsibility to plan and deliver a lively and varied programme of sports and activities for our teenager customers. Formal experience of leading sports or activities with groups of young people is required. Senior Courier: You will be responsible for the day to day running of one of our small team sites. In addition to general campsite courier duties, you will arrange staff rotas, carry out various administrative tasks and maintain effective communications with both the campsite owner and the Area manager. Site Supervisor: You will be responsible for the day to day running of one of our larger sites. You will possess strong leadership, organisational and particular motivational skills and should have at least one years experience in the camping industry. Site Manager: You will be managing the day to day running of one of our largest sites. You will possess strong leadership, organisational and particular motivational skills and should have at least one years experience in the camping industry, as well as previous supervisory experience. Ideally, you should be over 21 and have held a full driving license for at least a year. Area Manager: You will be one of the most senior members of our field staff, responsible for the overall Canvas and Camping Life operation of 7 - 9 campsites. Main responsibilities include coordinating staff, including training and development and administration. You will have had had extensive experience of working within the campsite industry and posses initiative, excellent people management and organisational skills. Applicants will also need basic/conversational French, Spanish, German or Italian, must be over 21 and have held a full driving license for at least one year. Wild & Active Couriers: It will be your responsibility to plan and deliver a regular programme of wildlife walks and environment based activities for the whole family. You will have qualifications relating to wildlife or the environment and experience of leading guided wildlife walks and working with children of all ages. Mature Couriers: If you are looking for a change of scene or to sample the delights of working abroad we have a number of opportunities for mature couriers (couples or individuals). If you are physically fit, healthy and open minded we are sure you have something to contribute to our overseas team. Job description as per campsite courier. Assistants: Will work around the cities
of Nantes and Avignon as Warehouse Assistants.
